Hole Descriptions

Hole 1
Par 4 – 396 Yards

This starting hole eases you into this beautiful course. Off the tee, the closer you play to the left fairway bunker the better angle you will have into this protected green. The green is guarded by two bunkers on the right side and plenty of room to the left.

Hole 2
Par 4 – 290

This hole is short but mighty. You will have to be strategic off the tee with how much of the hill you want to take on with your tee shot. Placement is key, because if you go too far on your tee shot, fescue-filled mounds will engulf your ball. If placed correctly, you will have a short shot into this elevated green.

Hole 3
Par 3 – 168

One of the most beautiful tee shots on the course, elevated looking over Fresh Pond Reservoir. The pin placement will determine the difficulty of your tee shot. Easily can be tucked back right behind the bunker. Make sure you club correctly to attack those pins.

Hole 4
Par 4 – 390

This long par 4 is a true test. The landing area narrows at the cross fairway bunker and large tree to the right of the fairway. This green has a good amount of slope, so placement will be important. The green is protected short left and greenside right for your approach shot. There is plenty of bailout room to the left of the green.

Hole 5
Par 5 – 495

This is a great par 5 on the course, making the player be strategic about their tee shots and layup positions. Off the tee, the closer you flirt with the north pond, the better angle and distance into the green you will gain. If you are laying up, the cross bunker can come into play. This green has two tiers; be aware of your pin position when hitting into the green. The green is beautifully surrounded by mounding with Fresh Pond right in the distance.

Hole 6
Par 3- 206

This long unassuming par 3 is more challenging than meets the eye. The tree to the left of the green can hinder shots with a left pin location. The green slopes from back to front; make sure you stay below the hole on this one.

Hole 7
Par 4 – 340

This is a great par 4! Off the tee, try to position yourself as closely as you can to the fairway bunkers. If you bail out left, the trees close to the green may block your approach shot. This green complex is one of the best on the course, protected by a green side bunker left and mounding behind and to the right of the green. Select the right club here; it doesn’t hurt to be short!

Hole 8
Par 3 – 151

Fresh Pond’s signature hole. This hole is just beautiful with Fresh Pond to your left and Little Fresh Pond before you, which you will need to hit over. There is plenty of room between Little Fresh Pond and the start of the fairway, don’t let it intimidate you. The green is surrounded by bunkers, and the green slopes hard back to front. With that slope helping you, don’t be afraid to shoot right at the pin.

Hole 9
Par 5 – 495

Accuracy is key on this final hole. Penalty areas to your right as well as the left. The key to scoring well on this hole is your lay up location. With large trees protecting the angle from the right, you will want to make sure you hug the middle left side of the fairway for the best approach shot in. There is mounding with mature fescue directly behind the green. It pays to be slightly short to avoid them.
